Deliberate and Determined

Are you intentional in your actions? Are you tough minded in your actions? If you are, then you are both deliberate and determined; both qualities needed to have the right attitude for success.

To be deliberate doesn’t mean like when you was a child and you deliberately did something mean to your brother or sister. Yet in a fashion it does, you meant to do something, set your mind to it, and you did it! Now of course, you’re not setting your mind to deliberately do something to hurt another now, you are deliberately setting your mind to success. Once your mind is set, you can achieve it.

Determination plays a huge role in that as well. If you are not determined to beat all odds, you will fail. You have to have the drive and determination to win at all that you do and when you fail, have the determination to pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and forge ahead.

This week was themed the Right Attitude. The right attitude encompasses optimistic, objectivity, deliberate, and a determined personality. If you carry these traits in your daily life, you already contain the right attitude to succeed in anything you set out to achieve. Have an absolutely wonderful weekend!

Objectivity is the Right Attitude

Objectivity is everything people! If you cannot be objective and see all sides of something how can you make the right decision in anything? The right attitude has the ability to look at all angles of something and be objective. Just because you may think you are brilliant and all your ideas or thoughts are spot on, doesn’t necessarily make it true. By being narrow minded, you are missing a lot of creative and sometimes brilliant input that could be just the idea or thought that could put you over the top in sales or life period.

You have to be able to be honest with yourself. Be able to admit when you are wrong or that you have totally messed up while at the same time be able to give yourself credit when you come shinning through. Being honest with yourself only improves your self-esteem even when you are having to admit to a failure. It shows people you are human and that even in failure you can stand back and look at it objectively and take the corrective measure to make it right. Others can only respect a person like that.

The right attitude is able to look at themselves in all lights objectively. If you cannot do that, then you cannot make well-informed solid decisions, which is not the right attitude to achieve the success of your dreams.

Optimistically Positive

Yesterday I touched on having an optimistic attitude as being a part of the combination to the right attitude to succeed in anything you set your mind to. It is not just important to have an optimistic outlook, it is crucial! No matter what has happened in the past, only you can make a brighter tomorrow. The only way you can achieve that is by having an optimistic personality.

When you have an optimistic personality, good things just naturally happen for you. People enjoy being around you. You inspire others to put negativity at bay and bring out the best in them. There is definitely a connection between success and having an optimistic personality. So if you want to have the right attitude to move forward to the brightest future possible, ditch the negativity and let your optimistic side shine through.

Positively Optimistic

Good morning. In keeping with the theme of the week, The Right Attitude, I want to start by asking you how you felt this morning when you woke. Did you wake with a vibrant and positive attitude ready to take on the day? Or did you wake with an attitude that took a half a pot of coffee to get you heading in the right direction or did you wake with the attitude that you would just as soon go right back to bed?

Did you know that from the minute you rise could determine your entire outlook on your entire day? That is why it is so important to get enough sleep on a regular basis. Something I found a little funny while talking to a friend the other day when talking about sleep was she told me sleep was overrated. Now I have heard this said before. Things like you have plenty of time to sleep when you’re dead, time is a wasting so who has time for sleep, and other similar sayings all relating back as to why 8 hours of sleep are not in the books for them. Now I will be the first to admit that I have pulled some all nighters, and have lacked in sleep more times than I would like to count. However, I have always noticed that my productivity and my attitude is always better when I have had a good nights rest.

Now this brings me to my point, which is being optimistic. No matter how many hours you have to rest your weary body, you have to be optimistic. You have to put on a positive attitude and step up to the plate with a smile. If lack of sleep makes this a difficult task for you, then you really need to make sure you get adequate sleep nightly. If you can pull this off with just a few hours of sleep a night, then you have mastered the right attitude!
